On December 1^st and 2^nd, Bentley announced the 19 category award winners and 22 Founders' Pride Award winners for the 2021 YII Going Digital Awards in Infrastructure, that recognizes Bentley users for their outstanding contributions to advancing infrastructure design, construction, and operations worldwide. The winners were selected from 230 organizations that participated in 2021’s Award. We were awarded the Founders' Pride Award for the Digital Twin Project of the FPSO Offshore Oil Gathering and Transportation Platform.

Located in the South China deep sea, Guangdong Province, the project was initiated by CNOOC to implement the digital construction with the assistance and participation of Meshdynamics（Beijing） Information Technology Co.,Ltd. The main target of project is to make a more environmental, scientific and efficient use of the offshore floating production, storage and offloading unit that integrates production, storage and offloading.

The FPSO project established a realistic indoor and outdoor integrated 3D model data in the deep sea, relying on optical, laser, thermal infrared and other means, and multi-person fusion and post-processing, to obtain ultra-high precision realistic model. It greatly improves the operational efficiency of each platform of the entire offshore oil system, greatly enhances safety and security, reduces labor costs.
